  • Condition: A great looking 1957 Cleveland Indians Team Signed League Baseball featuring Roger Maris in his rookie year. This vintage baseball is in excellent condition showing only light wear from age. The autographs are in blue ink and still very legible. The ball itself is a 1957 MLB A.L. League ball (William Harridge) with 26 signatures. Manager Kerby Farrel & Bob Avila on the sweet spot with Roger Maris on the opposite sweet spot over the “Official American League” stamp. I’ve identified 24 of the 26 signatures and listed them below. The balls stitching is tight and there are only a couple of areas where there is some minor staining. All the signatures are guaranteed authentic. The ball is still in beautiful condition as it still displays very well. All sides are shown below.

    A fantastic looking 1957 Cleveland Indians Team Signed baseball featuring Roger Maris in his Rookie Year. The ball and the 26 signatures are is in excellent condition showing only light wear from age. Signatures are: Kerby Farrel, Bob Avila (sweet spot), Roger Maris, Vic Wertz, Gene Woodling, Ray Narleski, Joe Altobelli, Bud Dailey, Don Mossi, Bob Lemon, Stan Pitula, Bob Alexander, Hank Aguirre, Dick Tomanek, Russ Nixon, Vito Valentinetti, Larry Raines, Red Kress (coach), Cal McClish, Chico Carrasquel, Dick Williams, Al Smith, Herb Score, and 3 signatures I cannot make out. I date the ball from after August 24, 1957 after the Indians acquired Vito Valentinetti as he is one of the signatures. The autographs are guaranteed authentic as this ball comes from the personal collection of legendary musician (and baseball player) Flip Phillips. This ball is one 6 important MLB autographed baseballs that I am selling from that collection.
