Vintage Royal Zuid Gouda Holland Hand Painted "Large" Vase. ....... Floral Design Hand Painted. EXCELLENT CONDITION! HISTORY: Gouda, Holland, has been a pottery center since the seventeenth century. Two firms, the Zenith pottery, established in the eighteenth century, and the Zuid-Hollandsche pottery made the brightly colored art pottery marked Gouda from 1898 to about 1964. Other factories followed. Many pieces featured Art Nouveau or Art Deco designs.
